Consultation & Procedure Process

2. Consultation
A medical and consent form will be completed to ensure your suitability for the procedure(s) chosen. Then a full and in depth consultation to establish your expectations of permanent make up will be performed. You will discuss what you would like to achieve with permanent cosmetics, and together we will decide on a realistic choice just right for you.
3. The Procedure
Often I will first take a “before” photograph of the procedure area, this is for my records and for my clients to see their before and enhanced look photos.
Before the procedure, a numbing anesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area to make you totally at ease during the process; while we wait for the area to become numb we will discuss the results you wish to achieve. Then I will assess the best color for you from a selection of the finest grade pigments. Created is a fully personalized color to compliment your overall appearance, skin, hair and eye color.
Depending on the client, I will use a variety of methods to template the desired shape so you can approve the enhancement before the treatment begins to ensure the finished result is exactly how you planned. When you are satisfied with the design we will begin the procedure. I will never carry out any procedure until you are entirely satisfied with the design first.
Selected pigments are then implanted into the skin using a sterilized, pre packaged needle with the latest state of the art computerized equipment.
During the treatment, you are shown the results that are being achieved to ensure you remain entirely satisfied with the look.
A post procedure photograph may be taken.
4. Aftercare
Important aftercare details will be explained to you to ensure you take care of the treated areas for seven days following your procedure. You will also be given an aftercare leaflet and products to be applied until your permanent cosmetics heal properly. Contact details will be provided should you need any further advice.
5. Follow up appointment
A follow-up treatment is scheduled anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks post procedure. At this time we may “boost” your color and/or perfect any final adjustments that may be necessary to ensure your permanent cosmetic enhancement is complete and long lasting. This is included in the initial cost.
Consultation Duration: Allow 15-20 minutes.
Procedure Duration: Allow 2-hours from start to finish. Some procedures may take a bit longer to perform, some can take a less. you will be advised at time of booking.
Follow-up appointment: Allow 1-2 hours from start to finish.
